When you were planning to leave home for Columbia, what did you think you would need to bring?

There was never a planning session, the closest thing to planning that occurred when trying to think of what to bring involved combing stores like Target and Bath & Body works, trying to visualize what I'd need.

What did you bring? Why?

Thankfully I brought all of the essentials. Unfortunately "the essentials" doesn't apparently include things like lamps or batteries.

What do you think will prove to be important? Unnecessary?

My computer, it already is important. I can't think of anything I brought that is entirely unnecessary.

What do you wish you would have brought?

My record player and records! My parents convinced me that I wouldn't need them. I'll definitely be bringing them come Winter.

What has been the most difficult thing to get used to since you arrived? How is it different from your former life

Thankfully I got here already knowing a couple people. They then introduced me to friends they had and I've felt very welcomed.

The main difference from my former life is the amount of walking I do. It's great though.
